The Wolfgang Lounge Chair by Luca Nichetto is a new product, but one that wears its iconic design influences with pride.
The blurb for the chair references Scandinavian design, Hans J Wegner and going even further back, Michael Thonet who was designing chairs in the 1850s. The chair is available for a variety upholstery options in either fabric or leather, with prices starting at £762. You can also have the chair covered in your own material for £728, although the design works best with unfussy upholstery, so for once I’d steer clear of any busy retro prints.
