Part of Hay's FDB range, the C44 table offers retro Danish style at a more affordable price.
Like the J104 chair, this is a reissue of one of the designs originally created for FDB (roughly translatable as the Danish Consumers Co-operative Society). This society dates back to the 1940s and was intended to make good quality design more accessible for everyone. It also shares a designer with that chair, Jørgen Bækmark, and his design features a simple natural wood design with a reversible black and white table top.
The price still remains more affordable than other bits of Danish mid-century design – the table is priced at £325.
