It's probably the idea time to buy a convertible just as summer has ended. After all, less people are going to want a soft top during the rainy season. With that in mind, this 1966 Sunbeam Alpine convertible car could be worth keeping an eye on.
It needs work, but it has price on its side. According to the seller, it failed an MOT recently due to a 'small bit of welding', which he's never got round to doing. But on the plus side, it has a full customer leather interior, red carpets (include boot) and starts first time every time. So 30 minutes of welding work seems to be the main issue, outside of some work on the exhaust and a bit of paintwork.
If that sounds manageable for you, right now this is at £205.
