It's the latest reissue from the classic Kay Bojesen wooden toy range, with many of the previous reissues also gracing these pages. For good reason too, each one is a cool, stylish and timeless piece of midcentury design.
This one dates from the 1940s, with Santa produced with his sack and a walking stick for a model that stands around 20cm high. £79.95 is the price, which isn't cheap, but it will offer a lifetime of use – even if it's only for part of each year.
