It is unusual to find a piece of furniture that mixes 18th century French design with 1960s space-age style, but the Casamania Marie Antoinette Pop Cabinet does just that.
The cabinet is part of range by French designer Sam Baron that pays tribute to the elegancy of 18th design, but with a more than a little nod to more recent times. The base of the cabinet is certainly in the antique French style, but the egg-like shape of the unit looks decidedly 60s. It is made to order so you will have to wait 4 to 6 weeks – and you'll also need to find £1,772.
