It is described as a 'revelatory guide' to hundreds of original 7-inch record cover sleeve designs of the era, an encyclopaedic visual reference guide that runs alongside a number of interviews with celebrated designers involved in creating that imagery, the calling cards of the era and the bands in question.
It covers 400 pages, which gives you an idea of just how exhaustive it is, with Amazon selling it on pre-order for £16.25.
