The book focuses on the major names of fashion, starting with Worth and Poiret and covering the likes of Dior, Chanel, Ossie Clark and Yves Saint Laurent. In fact, it goes up to the present day, so you (if funds allow) know which pieces you should be picking up now for future investments.
As well as the clothes themselves, the 224 pages include profiles of style icons from each period, including Lauren Bacall and Catherine Deneuve.
