Alexander Girard's striking designs have been repurposed in many ways over the years, but these wool blankets from Vitra are probably one of the cosiest.
The blankets are based on designs originally produced for walls or for screen-prints for textiles and here woven using merino wool. Cosy, and colourful, as there's five different designs to pick from, each based around a different colour palette. For something slightly different, there's also a blanket that uses the Eames Dot pattern.
