Right now it's at under £1, so of course we're talking up this 1960s Hans Agne Jakobsson-designed Danish light fitting.
It is called a Trapez ceiling lamp and was designed in the 60s by Hans Agne Jakobsson for Nordisk Solar, Denmark. This particular fitting was manufactured in the 1970s.
It consists of sheet metal lacquered white, with two smaller circular inner shades also lacquered white, within the larger shade. These are fixed to each other by three metal rods, with the shades spaced out to boost the light effect. It has been lacquered red on the inside to increase the light.
The lamp is said to be in 'very good condition' and in 'full working order', with 'very few age related faint marks on the lacquer work'. However, these do not 'interfere in any way with the overall look of the piece'.
