John Lewis has got a goodie on its hands with this exclusive, the Hans Wegner The "U" Dining Table.
The table was originally created by the Danish designer back in 1970, but has been reissued and is now available exclusively at John Lewis. The table seats six (perhaps enough for your Christmas lunch plans?) and is typical of Wegner's style – a simple wooden form. The table is available in either all oak or the oak and black version as shown above. It costs £999.
