The coat has something of a 60s feel, possibly even sneaking into ther 1970s. It's made from a classic check fabric and has been given a neatly fitted and flared shape, with zip detailing on the pockets as well as up the front of the coat. A spot of winter luxury is added by the white faux fur collar.
