And the showdowns aren't always the most obvious – you have Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta's final scene in Grease, Charlie Chaplin's Little Tramp preparing to eat his book and Ferris Bueller's friend Cameron fixating on Georges Seurat's painting.
The illustrations are all in a whimsical, child-like watercolour style, which adds to their charm.
