You might recall that a couple of months back, we featured the Underground Collection by Kirkby Design. Those were classic fabrics from the London Underground reproduced for you're own crafting or upholstery projects. If you aren't so hands-on, you can also pick up some rather nice Underground Cushions from Kirkby Design too.
It works with the same cloths, but does the hard work for you, leaving you to simply choose which classic London Underground cloth you want in your home (and on your sofa). In collaboration with Transport for London (TfL), five iconic moquette designs have been reproduced in viscose velvets, all taken from the London Transport Museum's archive.
You can see some of the designs on this page, with others viewable on the Kirkby Design website. All sell for £55 and would make quite a quirky Christmas gift.
