Finding a stylish modern audio system to go with your vintage furnishings isn't the easiest thing in the world. Trust us, we've tried (and failed) many times to do just that. But this wooden Bluetooth Speaker Classic by Tangent might just do the trick…at a price.
It's a very cool oval design, one that's offered in the walnut finish pictured here or a lighter beech. Either would look amazing on a midcentury sideboard, that's for sure, not least because this has a similar look and feel.
As for the system itself, that's a bass reflex stereo speaker, said to deliver a 'balanced, generous, powerful' sound. it has Bluetooth for wireless connectivity to your audio kit and an infrared remote and USB port so you can even recharge your iPhone or iPad too.
We love it, but at £499, it is quite an investment.
