Lovely player, lovely colour. This fully-restored 1960s Dansette Senator portable record player is right up our street.
It is over 50 years old, but looks factory fresh from the photos. Everyhing has been upgraded or cleaned up, from the outer surface to the inner workings. Even a faded patch on the surface has been sampled and replaced by professionally mixed paint. That's the attention to detail here.
As for the player itself, it has the original catches and hinges, the original valve amplifier, renovated knobs on the front and an auto-changing deck inside. The inner working have had a mechanical service, so everything is in full working order, while the mains lead has been replaced to make it compatible with modern circuitry.
Downside? The legs you see in the picture aren't included in the final price, but you can buy them separately if you want them. That's pretty much the only negative.
Price-wise, you are looking at £100 now, which is a good price compared to some recent Dansette sales.
