Arguably the most famous of all the Marimekko designs, the Unikko motif is 50 years old this year and to celebrate, this Maija Isola is being used on a range of limited edition designs that collectors will no doubt go nuts for. That includes this Marimekko Unikko special anniversary edition tea pot, bowl and mug.
Not a complete set, each item is sold separately, but they have a common theme of using the black variation of the design., along with each item being stamped with 'Unikko 50th Anniversary' and Maija Isola's signature to celebrate the 50-year milestone.
On top of that, they are pretty hip pieces of home design, made from porcelain and still guaranteed to get the attention of friends and neighbours all these years on.
price-wise, you are looking at £16 for them mug, £41 for the bowl and £67 for the tea pot. Not cheap, but definitely desirable.
