I think we need to do a round-up of midcentury-style beds at some point as there are a growing number out there. When we do, this Dare Studio Zephyr king size bed at Heal's will definitely be in the mix, although it certainly will not be the cheapest.
It's a stunning design though and perhaps one you need to see 'in the flesh' to fully appreciate. I don't think the standalone images here really do it justice. But for the record, it has some subtle curves for the frame, with the 'head' mixing the same walnut used for the frame with some ash spindles for great effect.
It is sized at H110 x W185 x D215cm and retails for – wait for it – £3,825. Something of an investment piece you could say.
