A lot of things on eBay are tagged Guzzini, but more often than not, they aren't by the company itself. This 1970s Guzzini transparent pull-down light fitting is definitely the real deal, with the company's label still on the shade.
It's a large pull-down shade that's dated to the 1970s by the seller, although that subtle spiral design puts us more in mind of the 1980s. Not that it really matters, you'll be buying this based on the look rather than its date of origin.
You can adjust the height between 30.7 inches and 51.2 inches with the pull-down and as we mentioned above, the maker's label is still on this. Condition-wise, there are 'normal traces of use and age', which includes 'some scratches on the surface of the lampshade' and 'a tiny deformation at the rim', which is described as 'hardly visible'. Plenty of close-up shots on the listing so you can make up your own mind. Overall, there are 'no damages as chips, cracks or broken parts' and the mechanism is in full working order.
Price-wise, it's at just £1 right now.
