Described as fully restored and serviced, this 1960s Dansette Challenge record player is said to be a rare model and is up for sale right now on eBay.
It is said to date from 1965 and still has its original brown ad cream covering, matched with chrome fittings and a BSR four-speed turntable inside, which can accept up to eight records at a time.
As for the renovation, it has been stripped and cleaned inside and out, with cosmetic condition described as '9 out of 10' and the sound being as authentic as you would expect, thanks to the single valve amplifier, changed resistors capacitors and a replacement output transformer.
Full details of the renovation are included on the listing, along with more images of the player. Right now, the price is £51.
