I'm pretty sure this particular retailer has had a change of design team of late, because the number of retro-style designs at DFS right now is unbelievable. The Atomic sofa and armchair is the latest spot.
In isolation, you probably wouldn't associate this look with the retailer. But this 1960s-inspired design is available at the high street retailer as a three-seater and two-seater sofa, as well as an armchair and footstool, all in a choice of finishes (just in case you don't fancy the orange leather).
All have the contrasting angled legs, the sloping arms and high back, not to mention plenty of cushioning for comfort. Price-wise, as I type, you can get the three-seater for £1,199, the two-seater for £998, the armchair for £648 and the footstool for £278, although those prices are only listed until this weekend.
