Not a place we tend to look at for inspiration, but today we did and we spotted this Mira midcentury-inspired seating range at DFS.
It's an interesting range too, mixing that usual substantial cushioning you see in a lot of high street sofas with a style influenced by the middle of the 20th century. It looks to be built for comfort, but this time someone has remembered the style bit.
There is a lot to choose from too. Take your pick from a four-seater sofa, three-seater sofa and two-seater sofa, along with a 'cuddler' sofa, an armchair and an accent chair. There's even a rather nice matching round footstool, a storage footstool and a scatter cushion too, which pretty much kits out any living room.
Don't worry about the grey upholstery, you can choose from a variety of colours, as well as lithe and dark wood for the angled legs. You can also opt for coloured buttons or matching ones at no extra coat.
Of course, there's a deal on, as you might expect. Right now the four-seater is £599, the three-seater is £499, the two-seater is £489, the cuddlier £459, an armchair is £399, accent chair £389, with the large stool selling for £189 and the storage stool at £188.
