We've featured lots of midcentury-style beds recently. Now it appears cots are getting something of a makeover too – at least in the case of this Bloom Retro Cotbed.
Yes, in something of a change from the usual styles, this particular design has been inspired by midcentury styles. There's a lot to recommend it other than its looks as well: it's UK made, for starters, and from solid wood rather than MDF. You can also use it at two mattress heights so it converts from a bassinet to a cotbed. There's a separate rail you can buy to make it toddler suitable, when that time comes.
The bed comes in a coconut white as well as the brown wood finish. There are equally attractive retro styled dressers available to accompany both designs too.
