When it came to buying sofas, the last place you would have thought of looking until recently were the big high street retailers. Basically, the sold anything but retro or vintage-style items. That has changed so much in the past couple of years. Last week we spotted the Mira range at DFS and this week we've noticed the 1960s-style Mach range at the same retailer.
Don't get too hung up on the colours and finishes, there are plenty of options in both leather ands velvet to choose from for the twos-eater sofa, the armchair and the matching footstool.
Just concentrate on the design, which looks a good option if space is tight and looks perfect for a 1960s-inspired pad, with curves, a buttoned back and angled legs very reminiscent of the era.
As for prices, the sofa starts at £699, with the armchair at £499 and the stool at £249.
