I can't see it staying at this price, but it would be nice to think that you could pick up this 1973 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray for just over £1,000.
This head-turning car was fully restored in 2008/9 and is described as 'one of the best in the country'. The photos certainly seem to indicate that. It is a matching numbers car with 'mostly original features', with the one blemish being 'slight damage to the front nose-cone' due to a parking accident.
The car has been in dry storage and is being sold to reduce the size of a collection. It's also tax exempt and will have a fresh MOT when it sells.
As we said, just £1,020 with no reserve right now, but that price just might rise before the end of the auction. More photos on the listing.
