It has been in the same family since 1966, but now this 1960s Dieter Rams-designed Braun RC81 Super Radiogram is looking for a new owner.
The unit was designed in 1960s, but according to the seller, it was 'bought new in 1966 by my father' and is a numbered unit, number 474 for the record. The listing says that both the record player and radio work and it has a new cartridge, but 'needs a service to increase the sound quality'.
The listing also adds that it is in 'good condition', with some small chips on the wood work on the ends, while the underneath shelf is missing. Still, not bad for something 50 years old and a desirable piece for sure.
If you want it, the price is £500 right now.
