Not the cheapest thing we've featured, but you do get a lot of light – and a lot of impact – from this 1970s opal glass light fitting.
Described as a 'Sputnik' lamp by the seller (but a little less elaborate than that in reality), it has five opal glass balls suspended from chrome 'arms' and what looks like a wooden centre piece, which in turn is supported by more chrome.
It is described as being in 'good condition' with 'low signs of age' and is around 48cm tall and 60cm wide. It's a light fitting that will dominate a room – and in a good way.
The asking price is £270 which, as we said, isn't cheap, but it still looks good value if you want something a little different for your retro room.
