We ended up browsing the Orla Kiely site earlier and happened to stumble upon the furniture section, something we had forgotten all about in truth as its' not seen on the high street too often. Part of that range is this wonderful Orla Kiely midcentury-style wall unit.
Wall unit, room divider, take your pick. It works as both, especially if you have a 1960s theme going on in that particular room. The walnut unit, which arrives full assembled, has lacquered olive and cream MDF panels, the pebble stem print melamine inlays and what's described as 'multi functional' open and closed storage which includes drawers, along with sliding and pull down cupboard storage.
It's part of a larger range of similar designs, which also includes a coffee table, console table, mini larder, sideboard, coffee table and more. Now the bad news. The divider retails for £1,610 and you can only order it at the Covent Garden store of Orla Kiely.
