Nice shape, amazing retro print: it's hard not to be charmed by Emily and Fin's Pool Party dress.
The joy is really in the detail – take a look at the close-up below and you'll see that the name really lives up to its title. It's covered with scenes taken from a very glamorous midcentury pool party, with swimsuit-clad women accessorized with cat's-eye sunglasses, reclining under palm trees in butterfly chairs. Cocktails are, naturally, close to hand. The print looks so authentic it seems possible it is based on an original period design.
As for the dress itself, it's based on Emily and Fin's 'Lucy' style: that means a gathered waistband and shoulders, with a back zip. The cotton is fully lined. Or you can get the same fabric in their Jessica style instead, which has a button front.
