I really don't know how many limited edition products there are for the John Lewis 150 years, but I'm guessing 'lots'. In fact, we were looking for something completely different when we spotted this Smeg fridge with vintage Cummersdale print, one of the products that slipped under our radar.
The fridge is a Smeg FAB28RD fridge with freezer compartment, which you can buy with plain design here, there and everywhere. But you can only buy this design at John Lewis. That design is the Cummersdale print, which dates back to the company's founding year of 1864, and was originally used as a furnishing fabric. It works pretty well on a 1950s-style fridge too.
The fridge itself has A++ for energy efficiency, an auto defrost function, three glass shelves, a fruit and vegetable drawer, four door shelves (including a covered dairy compartment) and a chrome wine rack. There's also a four star ice box (26 litre capacity) within.
If you want one, the price is £1,499.
