This is a very handsome piece, with a bevelled ash-veneer frame helping create that mid-century look although it's actually made from FSC-certified eucalyptus wood. But what really makes this design stand out is how it amps up the glamour with its black lacquer finish and the bronze-finished metal pulls used on each of its three drawers. In fact, it's so glamorous so may well be tempted to use it as a display piece, rather than an actual desk.
