We have featured the original in the past, but now you can get the classic Charles and Ray Eames-designed Vitra Wire Chair for your garden.
That's right, you can show off to the neighbours by sticking a midcentury classic or two in the garden or on the patio without too much worry of them being damaged by the elements.
Why? Well, the new version of this 1951 Eames classic comes with a special powder coating for the steel wire used in its construction. That means the frame becomes resistant to potential corrosion and as such, can be used outside. Although for security, we wouldn't recommend you leave them there.
That's because these chairs don't come cheap. The DKR and DKX models are available for outside use, with each likely to retail at around the £400 mark each.
