We like the design, but it's the current price of this 1970s space age table lamp that has turned our heads.
We don't think it's a designer piece, but it definitely has a 'look'. Indeed, if you are furnishing a room with a late '60s or 1970s space age feel, this would fit in perfectly.
As for the design, the shade is an opaque white plastic with circular opening at the top and a yellow trim. That's on top of a metallic, tulip-like structure that is lacquered canary yellow. The original switch is also on this stem.
The lamp is said to be in 'very good /good condition' and in 'full working order' with a few age related marks and scratches on the yellow lacquer work (see pictures on listing).
Right now it's at just £5.09, so a potential bargain. Actually, that should be two bargains, as the seller has another one for sale too.
