What could be more topical than tennis shoes along with strawberries and cream? Presumably that's why the first batch of these Adidas Consortium x Footpatrol Edberg '86 trainers have just landed.
It's a footwear classic, dating back to 1986, when Stefan Edberg was one of the big hitters in the sport of tennis. His shoes were a big hit too. They are back initially as a very limited edition for the Footpatrol store in a premium suede finish with leather detailing, the Strawberries and Cream colourway and co-branding between retailer and maker.
Sadly, the first run sold out immediately, but they will be available from 19th July 2014 across several other retailers. Too late for Wimbledon, but in good time for the rest of summer. Price should be around £95.
