Once upon a time, we used to bemoan the fact that the one missing piece of the modern-day midcentury-style home was a decent bed. Then a few years ago, they started appearing. Fast forward to 2014 and there are plenty of options at various price points, including this Trixabelle upholstered bed.
We like this one because it's nice and simple. On top of that, there are plenty of colour options for that upholstery (great for matching up) and bed sizes of double, kind, Euro king and super king (great for all room sizes).
The design mixes the bold upholstery with a buttoned headboard and contrasting tapered legs, all of which is constructed around the hand-built beech frame and individually sprung beech slats.
