Kickstarter has a knack of producing some really cool and quirky projects, with the Viddy pinhole camera kit being another fine example.
The project has already passed its pledge total, but you can still commit to one of these beauties, which we're guessing lovers of old school photography might just do.
Essentially it's a super-cute DIY medium format and 35mm pinhole camera, made from what's described as tough, durable recycled card and screenprinted / die-cut by hand in the UK and is available in four colours. Of course, it comes as a kit, but that's just a 30-minute job, with just a touch of glue needed to build – everything else just clicks and sticks into place.
Each kit comes with everything you'll need to complete the camera, including a reclaimed medium format spool, a precision laser-cut pinhole, a red light-proof window, split pins, a sticker sheet and of course, instructions on how to put it all together.
If you want to be the coolest snapper on the street, you'll need to commit to the Kickstarter project. £30 gets you a Viddy from around November 2014, with other exclusive offers if you want commit more.
