Now this really is cool. You would expect a player pushing 60 years old with a cloth covering to be pretty tatty by now. Not so this 1950s Regentone portable record player.
Said to date from the mid to late 1950s, it is in full working order and surprisingly strong condition. The seller classes it as excellent with the casing of 'leather cloth covered cardboard' said to be in 'immaculate condition'.
Also intact is the valve amplifier and rotary controls, with the amplifier also benefitting from a service. The BSR deck is working as it should and a new mains lead and plug have been fitted to comply with modern standards.
Overall, a lovely thing. The only downside is the price, with this being on a 'Buy It Now' of £200.
