The Pop Art accessory is having a fashionable moment: first it was Anya Hindmarch and her reworked Kelloggs bags, then last week it was Sarah's Bags take on Roy Lichtenstein artwork. Also blurring the lines between fashion, art and commerce are these Pop Art-style bags from Kling.
Kling are a young Spanish brand but these bags from their latest collection scream pure americana. They're shoulder bags styled to look like food, from the popcorn shown above to the french fries shown below. There's also a third design, shaped like a cookie box.
The bags are made from plastic with a metal chain strap and, while not quite equal to Warhol taking on the Campbell's soup can in stature, they are undeniably fun.
Joyously, they're also pretty cheap as well as being cheerful. Prices start at 34.90 euros, which works out at about £27.
