We're long-time fans of the vintage style of Herb Lester's maps to destinations all over the world. The problem can be knowing which one to pick. That problem is partly solved with the launch of London and New York: The Collected Guides.
They're six different maps based around each city: you save a bit of money on buying them individually, plus get a typically stylish presentation box. And, of course, it solves the problem of picking just one.
The London box contains An Uncle's Guide to London, Untamed London, Clandestine London, Welcome to London: A World of Eating, At Your Service and Writing London, while New York collection includes How To Find Old New York, Truly Greenwich Village, Writing Manhattan, A Manhattan Bar for All Reasons, A Brooklyn Bar for All Reasons and Eating Queens.
Although it's probably far, far too early to mention, the collections have 'Christmas present' virtually written all over them.
The collections are £20 each.
