The Salford Lads Club is probably most famous for its occasion with The Smiths. But its Victorian exterior has again been immortalised, this time in this print by We Live Here.
The building, which sits on the corner of Coronation Street, was the backdrop to Stephen Wright's famous photos of The Smiths, and made it a destination for fans from all over the world.
In this version, the building gets honoured in its own right, rendered with the same attention the artist, Jonathan Wilkinson, has previously given to the likes of prefabs and phone boxes. It's a giclee print limited to only 150 copies. Even better is that 20% of each sale goes to help the work of the Salford Lads Club itself.
The prints are £45 each.
