It isn’t the original design, this is a Habitat reissue of the 1950s Robin Day-designed modular console. But it still a scarce design – and right now looking an absolute bargain.
Ultimately this is a very stylish, clever and timeless piece of interior design. it is a modular unit that consists of a metal structure plus five elements (cabinet, drawer unit, glass shelf, double-sided shelf and a bowl). All are completely adjustable, so you can arrange them according to your own requirements.
As we said, this is a later Habitat reissue (although not one we have seen a lot of), with condition described as ‘excellent’ outside of ‘a minor bump’ (probably factory originated) and ‘a gap in the drawer joint’ although ‘it is solid and doesn’t affect the drawer in anyway’.
Best of all, this is up at a cheap starting price with no reserve. Right now, it is at £1.04.
