I was pondering putting this on the Junior Hipster site as the seller points to this being for a child. But I think this 1970s hand-shaped brown suede chair might have wider appeal.
At first glance, it looks like the classic baseball glove-inspired Joe Chair, which was designed in 1970 by Jonathan De Pas, Donato D'Urbino and Paolo Lomazzi. However, it isn’t one of those, but could well be inspired by it, hence us thinking this is more of a 1970s design that a ‘60s piece (the seller isn’t too sure).
What we do know is that this is pop art for your home at a fraction of the price of a Glove Chair, covered in brown suede and sized at around 52cm x 50cm x 47cm.
The seller also adds that it is in ‘used’ condition, with ‘minor traces of use’ which ‘can be called normal for a vintage leather armchair’. Check out the additional images on the listing to make your own mind up.
The price is £279 on a ‘Buy it Now’ or you can make a cheaper offer.
