Some of you might recall the stunning Alexander Girard linen panels, which were reissued fairly recently. The stand out design for us was the ‘eyes’ design. But what we didn’t realise was that it was also available as the Alexander Girard-designed Eyes Graphic Print Pillow.
The pillow (or cushion if you like) was designed back in 1961 by Girard, with a reissue by Vitra this year. The eyes imagery is an amazing cartoon-like motif that really set off any room and add interest to the dullest of sofas.
It’s actually in the sale right now at Aram, down from £74 to £62.90. Still not what you would call cheap, but cheaper – and worth it if you look after it.
