Something a little different and not often seen for our eBay spot, this 1970s Joe Colombo-designed Topo clamp table light.
The lamp was produced by Stilnovo in Italy in the 1970s (it is still marked with the manufacturer’s branding) and wax probably designed for an architect / designer or indeed anyone who needed precise bright light at a desk. That’s provided by the swivel mechanism, with the light clamping to the side of your desk.
According to the seller, the lamp is ‘working but is untested’ and will be sent with the plug detached. As for condition, it has ‘some signs of age’ including marks and scuffs to the paint and some slight discolouration to the paint, which is original.
See all the pictures for a full idea of the lamp, which is up for £250 on a ‘Buy it Now’ or you can make a cheaper offer. A quick look round the web suggests these don’t go cheap, so might be worth keeping an eye on.
