We have seen similar models in the past, but it’s the condition of this 1970s Philips 623 record player that really sells it to us.
The player has, as you might have noticed, separate speakers for the stereo sound – which pack away when not required into a compact carry case. But when it is open, it will happily play 7-inch and 12-inch records at 33, 45 and 78rpm.
As we said, it looks in great condition. White plastic doesn’t always survive the decades well, but this looks the part still. It is also complete and with no cracks, as well as being able to work off both batteries and mains as originally intended.
£215 is the ‘Buy it Now’ price, with an option to make a cheaper offer if you wish.
