No one is pretending this is cheap. But this 1970s TVR Vixen 2500 sports car is pretty special.
The car dates to 1971 and has been maintained ‘regardless of cost’. It has also had a ‘full body off nut and bolt restoration’ in the 1990s too, which explains what you see today. The seller adds that the engine has been replaced with a ‘fully rebuilt, upgraded and highly tuned Triumph 2500 straight 6’ engine. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg – see the listing for all the upgrades and updates undertaken, which is far too detailed to list here. A couple of blemishes listed too, but it doesn’t sounds like anything too serious on paper. Again, see the listing for that.
Lots of history comes with the car too, including details of much of that work.
If it sounds like your motoring dream, you might want to check the bank balance first. No reserve, but already bidding is at £10,850. Six days to go too.
