It dates from 1960, but this Dansette Major MkII record player still looks the part.
In a red and grey colourway, the player has been stripped and clean inside and out (that is the original covering). The end result isn’t perfect, but for its age, it looks good to us. All the other bits and pieces (grille, latches, hinges and so on) are all correct for the player too.
Oh yes, the valve amplifier has been serviced, parts checked and (where necessary) replaced inside and the BSR deck works just fine. All it needs is a new owner and a pile of records.
