What does £1 get you these days? Right now it gets you this vintage 1960s Fase desk lamp.
Fake is a Spanish brand (and a new one to us) producing this oh-so-sixties design with a swivel base and glass diffuser, not to mention a rather interesting colourway.
According to the seller, it ‘works perfectly’, but has ‘some marks in paint commensurate with the age’, described as ‘not serious’ but evident on the photos if you want to check. The chrome is in ‘good general condition’.
So not bad value for the price, although you will might to sort out the wiring for use outside of Spain.
