For many, it’s the symbol of the early house movement of the late 1980s. But the Smiley actually dates back to 1971, when it was first used as part of a newspaper promotion to cheer people up. This Smiley Happy LED light at Nubie is evidence that it is still doing that.
Great for a kids room, but also just a great piece to brighten up (and cheetr up) any room in the house. Obviously the design is the selling point here, but the light it emits from the (dimmable) LED lamp inside should offer up some rather nice mood lighting too. Just don’t expect to use it as a reading light.
Not cheap at £165, but still a lovely thing.
