This is a design we featured back in 2011 when it was all about the colours. But the 1960s Semi pendant lamp by Gubi has now been reissued in new metallic finishes.
The light remains unchanged, a modernist classic dating from 1968, the work of two architecture students, Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup and all about style, simplicity and clean lines. Which is why it has dated so well.
Brass, chrome and copper are the new finishes available, with three sizes of the pendant also available. Prices start at £259 for the new pieces.
