From a distance you can’t really tell the difference between the Aurelia wall clock at Made and the 1970s design classic it is obviously based on.
That classic is the Koppel wall clock, designed by Henning Koppel back in 1978 for Georg Jensen and a design we have featured on this site in the past. The similarity is amazing, from the look through to the finish of copper or steel – the same options you get with the original.
Of course, there are differences – no Georg Jensen branding here, no choice of size (this one is 30cm diameter only) and subtle differences with the hands and time markers.
But you might be able to overlook all of that when we tell you the price. The cost of a smaller 22cm George Jensen clock is £240. The price of the one at Made is just £29.
